Forsyth Central High School senior Jordan Woodard has been selected as a finalist for the 2013 Naismith Awards Flourish Scholarship sponsored by the Atlanta Tip-off Club. The award recognizes student-athletes who best demonstrate competence, confidence, connections and courage on the court, in the classroom and in life. As a finalist, Woodard will take part in an in-person panel interview on Feb. 19 at the Metro Atlanta Chamber for a chance to receive a $1,000 scholarship to be used at an institution of higher education. Woodard plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in pharmacy.
