MARIETTA – Despite a small lineup, West Forsyth wrestling managed to finish fourth at the Blue Devil Brawl on Saturday at Marietta High School. Denver Stonecheck led the Wolverines, winning the individual title at 138 pounds. Troy Crawford (113), Thomas Cooper (132) and Cooper Frederick (145) each finished runner-up, Will Shirley (120), Rayden Crittenden (126) and Slaton Garner (152) each placed third while Kaleb Sherman (160) finished fourth. Central hosts Bulldog Brawl Forsyth Central hosted the Bulldog Brawl Tournament and finished fourth out of 18 teams. Stefan Lucien led the way for the Bulldogs, finishing second at 145 pounds. Central got third-place finishes from Parker Evans (113), Hunter Kurowski (120), Caleb Troutt (152), Knight Bankston (170) and Hunter Lamm (285). Miles Bankston (132) and Sebastian Legarra (195) each placed fourth. North at North Metro SNELLVILLE – Chase Tenety (120) and Keigan Radake (182) placed second individual and the Raiders finished fifth at the North Metro Tournament on Saturday at Brookwood High School. North had 127 points, behind first-place Etowah (177.5). Ola (151), Pope (148) and Brookwood (138.5) rounded out the top five. The Raiders also got strong performances from Jacob Nash (126, third), Tanner Buggs (160, third) and Nathan Grimes (138, fourth).
