FORSYTH COUNTY — District 7 U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall received the Spirit of Enterprise Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday during a legislative breakfast in Forsyth County. The award is presented annually to elected officials who legislate along the chamber’s priorities at least 70 percent of the time. Woodall, a Republican from Gwinnett County whose district covers south Forsyth, voted 89 percent of the time with those priorities, which include energy development, transportation, health care and legal reform. The honor is the second in the past month for Woodall, who in April received the American Conservative Union’s 2013 Conservative Award for demonstrating support of conservative principles during the 113th session of Congress.
